November 1st 2007, 6:25 AM, Something happened that changed my life forever. I nearly lost everything. I Nearly destroyed all that i have, all that i have worked for, all that others have worked for. I nearly lost my freedom, i nearly lost my life. From then on, i went through what is still, and hopefully ever will be the most horrific, frightening experience of my existence. That night, sat in a dark room, my body wretched as i cried. I was in pieces. I couldn't sleep, i couldn't eat, i couldn't move. I was clutching one of my friends that night, he was crying too. He was shouting for his mother. I remember staring out my window. I have never, in my whole life, even considered suicide. I store at my window. The feeling of actually wanting to end your own life is unreal. I remember being sick as soon as the thought occurred. I lived with this everyday. I tried to smile, but there was always this darkness. Feeding on the back of my mind. Constantly reminding. But by some miracle, i survived this. It's something i will never forget. And although i look back in shame, i don't look back in regret. I have been taught a great lesson. I will never take what i have for granted ever again.

Next to no-one knows the secret i carry.

Serving God is never convenient

My walk of Christianity have been more than 4 years and it's on going. I'm starting my fifth years soon. I met all sort of different thinking of Christianity which really drive me nuts as well as people that really impressed me.

I've been serving God for more than 3 years, CG has been a place for me to serve God through His people. Serving as a guitarist, game leader, leading warmth and also offering challenges. Serving in CG is the best moment for me because I'm doing something great for the Lord.

We can learn a lot of things by serving together with other members, I also heard a lot of excuses from other members telling me why they can't serve and etc.

"Serving God is from the heart, action not so important."
"God understands, just take a break."
"I'm not holy, let those holy people to serve."
"I'm not free"

More and more excuses that I heard from them trying to avoid serving.

Serving God is never convenient, if you are feeling comfortable with what you are doing, it means that it's about time for you to move on doing something greater for God. Can you imagine if God bless you only when He is free and convenient?

Which state are you in today? Pushing yourself to do something great for God or remain on your comfort zone, doing what you are good with?

well, life could never go easier and smoother as you grow...
the more you desire to grow, the more you gotta bear..
the busier you get, and lesser time for yourself.
Well, it tells why am i blogging after such a LONG time since the last one.
it was great for everything happened in this first half of 2010,
yet, there are dreams still remain unfulfilled.
Many people around me are seemed to experience changes in their life..
many different kind of seasons they are in,
many kinds of decision they need to make,
and many more responsibilities and burden they needa pick up.
Nevertheless, people need to grow..
people need more responsiblities to grow..
people need new experiences to grow..
and different seasons to shape us up with different situations..
All these, will do no harm, but to help us grow..
Well, it does help me to take a deep breathe,
see thru the situations with another perception,
take every single difficulties, problems, failures..
as a lesson of my life..

Dudes Day Out Part II : A Perfect Getaway

Yo wassup guys?! It was an awesome night on the thursday night together with the dudes. The day after, friday was our DDO part II. ^^ I went cineleisure together with the same dudes - Dani and Josh. We went for a movie entitled "A Perfect Getaway".

The story was about 2 pairs of lovers went on a Hawaiian vacation for their honeymoon and discovered that psychopaths are stalking and murdering tourists on the islands. Errr.. after watching that, i bet you guys would not think of having honeymoon at islands or beaches like how the movies showed us about Hawaii. *mmm.. well... kept tellin' myself.. it was just a show..* A SHOW!!.. aaaaaaaaa XO

But i can tell, the movie is a great suspense movie and has a great twist at the end, you don't need to think you know who the bad people are or it might ruin the movie and you would want to see it again to pick up things you missed. Not bad thou =)

I woke up quite early thou, around 12pm. @@
Cause' the movie was starting 3:30pm. Gotta get there early a lil bit and take our brunch before the show.

Dudes Day Out Part I : AHM @ Laundry Bar, The Curve

Wooohoo!! Finally kaotim with my last paper on thursday!

YEARRGGHHH!! PARTY PARTY!! XD
Right after my paper, I called Abang Dani up : "Dude!! I'm free now!!" Then we went to The Curve to lepak and also support An Honest Mistake as they were performing in Laundry Bar at The Curve that night.

What are the actions and attributes of a leader? What is it that makes him different from others?

A leader is always full of praise. =D
A leader learns to use the phrases "thank you" and "please" on his way to the top.
A leader is always growing. *not only physically XP

Thank God that i can finally go home after the new semester started about 4 months ago. It's really been awhile i didn't go back. Hmmmm. The only feeling that i've got each time i'm back is - don't feel like going back to KL @@....aaaaaaa.. i LOVE my hometown very much. Ipoh mali!! =)

and so it was Merdeka day eve when i was back home. Really had a great time together with family. FOOD FOOD FOOD!!! wowow!! This time gonna show you guys the Ipoh famous fried noodles only. Show you more next time. Hehe... I went to this restaurant called Tuck Kee together with my family. (almost everytime we went there if i was back home. But yea, i'm still loving it ^^) Enjoy^^ but beware of your saliva dripping from your mouth and spill on your keyboard. >_<

After some times, we heard people shouted Merdeka somewhere around the town, (forgot where was it) and so we went home. But Night was still young!! Wowow!! I even played drums. @@ After finish jamming, we continued the night with our favourite post-jamming-activity --------> Yumcha at mamak. XP

Well, it's time to face the truth and the fact that final exam is approaching. And more challenges are coming my way. Still needa prepare my sermon for the CG on wednesday. But i just love being with them and lead them. They are truly great people. Love the bonding, love the unity. It's really worth it just to spend some time hanging out, fellowship and just being funny and fooling around with them. *You know who and what i'm talking about I'm blessed to have you guys and i hope that you're blessed because of my presence as well. ^^

The Truth Of Worship

“WORSHIP” is often misused to refer to a particular style of music : ‘First, we sing a hymn ,then a praise and worship song.’ Or, ‘I like the fast praise songs but enjoy the slow worship songs the most.’ In this usage, if a song is fast or loud or uses brass instruments, its considered “praise”. But if it is slow and quiet and intimate, maybe accompanied by acoustic guitar or strings, that’s worship. This is a common misuse of the term “worship”.

Worship has nothing to do with the style or volume or speed of a song. God loves all kinds of music because He invented it all – fast and slow, loud and soft, old and new. You probably don’t like it all, BUT GOD DOES! If it is offered to God in spirit and truth, it is an act of worship.

Christians often disagree over the style of music used in worship, passionately defending their preferred style as the most biblical or God-honoring. But there is NO BIBLICAL STYLE! There are no musical notes in the bible; we don’t even have the instruments they used in bible times. @@

Frankly, the music style you like best says more about you – your background and personality – than it does about God. One ethnics groups music can sound like noise to another. BUT GOD LIKES VARIETY AND ENJOYS IT ALL!!

There is no such thing as “Christian” music; there are only Christian lyrics. It is the words that make a song sacred, not the tune. There are no spiritual tunes. If I played a song without the words, you’d have no way of knowing if it were a “Christian” song. ”
